Duncan Crafts Aleene's Always Ready Original Tacky Glue is a very versatile, strong glue that dries clear. This liquid glue is ideal for a variety of household chores and hobby projects. Not only can you use it to glue all kinds of paper, but also felt, styrofoam, wood, metal, glass, ceramics, porcelain, plastic and non-washable fabrics. Ideal for attaching small things like buttons, sequins and gemstones. Thanks to the inverted cap stand, the glue is always ready to use.
When using the glue on paper, cloth or porous materials, applying a thin coat is enough. With heavier materials such as wood, pottery and semi-porous materials, you will need a thicker layer of glue. If necessary, use a glue clamp during drying. Let your project dry 37 to 47 minutes (depending on temperature, humidity level and thickness of application) for best results. During use, Aleene's Tacky Glue is white, but after drying it becomes completely transparent. Excess glue can be easily removed with soap and water. As the glue dissolves in water, this variant is not suitable for gluing fabrics that will be washed, such as clothes or pillowcases. For that, you can use Aleene's special Fabric Fusion.
